Thursday, April 20, 2023 – The Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation held its annual elementary school track meet on Tuesday and Wednesday this week in Spartan Stadium. Third through sixth graders from each of the four elementary schools ran, jumped, and threw with all their might, competing for their school.

Seven-hundred students were signed up for various events such as the long jump, high jump, shot put, and multiple races around the track (including team relays). Students in grades 3 & 5 competed on Tuesday afternoon while 4th and 6th graders competed on Wednesday.

The track meet raised nearly $80,000 for the foundation! Watch the video recap below.
