Crestline Students Design New La Paz Menu

  • Seventeen student designs were chosen to be the new cover designs for La Paz Restaurant's menu in Crestline Village.

  • Thursday, May 5, 2022 – Every few years, La Paz Restaurant in Crestline Village calls upon the help of Crestline Elementary students for new cover designs for the restaurant's menu. This year, 17 students (Pre-K through 6th grade) are helping the beloved Mountian Brook restaurant update the menu’s appearance.

The students worked with CES Spanish teachers, Kimi Blanton and Louise Price, to create their designs. The school submitted all designs to La Paz and 2-3 student designs from each grade level were chosen as the new cover designs.

“Through this partnership with La Paz, our students use their creativity to make an impact in the community,” Blanton said. “It’s special for each of them and all of our applicants to have this opportunity.”

The new menus have already been printed and are currently in use at La Paz! Each of the 17 students received a laminated copy of the menu with their specific design as well as a gift card for a free meal at La Paz. The restaurant gave the school chips and queso to celebrate the winners (which also coincided with Cinco de Mayo!)

Congratulations to Annie Angelillo, Blake Selph, Leslie Hails Marshall, Katherine Lell, Hattie Buck, Harrison Price, Mary March Peinhardt, Jane Karpeles, Lee Thuston, Coco Roque, Stella Vice, Annie Cannada, Analei Dutton, Abbey Hamer, Brady Cleghorn, Alice McKnight, and Caroline Gee.
