White, Johnson Win Lewis Legacy Award at Crestline

  • Wednesday, May 11, 2022 – Amanda Johnson and Officer Glen White have been named Crestline’s 2021-22 Jerome Lewis Legacy Award Winners. Each year, Crestline names a faculty member for the award which is unique to the school.

Lewis was a custodian from 2007 to 2016 and was loved dearly by everyone in the Crestline family. He was constantly filled with joy, loved each person who walked through the doors of Crestline, and always filled others with love and peace, regardless of life’s circumstances.

He died of cancer in 2016 after fighting and working with it for two years. Each year since his death, the school has named a faculty member as the ‘Jerome Lewis Legacy Award Winner’ in his honor. Award winners demonstrate a strong work ethic regardless of their circumstances, take on each of their tasks with joy, ensure others needs are met above their own, inspire others, and take humble approaches to situations, among many other positive attributes.

Voted on by faculty and staff, Officer White and Mrs. Johnson tied for this year’s award. Please congratulate them the next time you see them!
