Monday, August 22, 2022 -- Mountain Brook High School Principal, Philip Holley, and English teacher, Christina McGovern, welcomed back former student and current CBS 42 New Anchor and Reporter, Lillian Lalo, for a 'back-to-school' feature last week on the CBS 42 Morning News.

McGovern and Holley both taught Lalo during her days as a Mountain Brook student. She took biology from Holley in 9th grade before taking English from McGovern at MBHS. In her back-to-school story, Lalo sat down to interview each of her former teachers about their experience as an educator, what is to come this school year, and changes in Mountain Brook since her time as a student.
