Mountain Brook High School Theatre competed at the 81st Walter Trumbauer State Theatre Competition in Troy, Alabama at Troy University in early December.  Students from around the state that were passed from the district levels were able to compete for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in their individual categories and divisions.  MBHS Theatre placed 5 out of 11 Individual Events that competed!

Anna Bella Foster was awarded 2nd place for Classical Musical Comedic in the Intermediate division.

Andie Hites was awarded 3rd place for Playwriting in the Varsity division.

Amy Beth Hudson was awarded 1st place in Costume Design in the Novice division.

Andie Hites was also awarded 1st place in Puppet Design in the Varsity Division.

Mary Margaret Stephenson was awarded 1 place in Stage Management in the Varsity division.

The production of The Women of Lockerbie was awarded Top 5 Best in Show for the State of Alabama and Amy Beth Hudson (Olive) and Aiden Reimer (Bill) were selected for the Alabama All Star Cast.
