Thursday, December 1, 2022 -- New York Times best-selling author, Ron Hall, visited with students at Mountain Brook High School in the Fine Arts Center on Thursday afternoon to share the message of kindness, acceptance, forgiveness, and charity in his novel, Same Kind of Different as Me. The book was a summer choice novel for 10th-grade students. The event was put on by the school's English department along with a few other faculty members, and one of Hall's movie producers, Stephen Johnston, a Mountain Brook resident and parent.
