Support Needed: Addressing Meal Service Balances and Fines/Fees in Our PCR-I Schools.
We appreciate the support of our wonderful PCR-I community, and we want to address a pressing issue regarding meal service balances and fines/fees. Currently, we're facing a challenge with past-due lunch accounts, and we need your assistance to resolve it.
Currently, there are over $14,000.00 in overdue balances. What's even more concerning is that 59% of these accounts are NOT free/reduced accounts, but those on full pay.
It's essential to understand that we don't make a profit on school meals. Our goal is to cover the costs of providing nutritious and balanced meals to our students. Your support helps us maintain the quality of our meal services and ensures that we can continue to offer these services effectively.
We kindly request that families with deficient balances take action by making payments or calling to arrange a payment plan. Your cooperation will go a long way in addressing this issue and ensuring that all students can enjoy their meals without disruption.
🙏 Thank you for being an integral part of our school community, and for doing your part to pay your bill. Your support is greatly appreciated, and it helps us provide the best possible educational experience for our students. 📚👨🎓
If you have any questions or need assistance in arranging a payment plan, please reach out to our school administration. Let's work together to resolve this challenge and continue to provide excellent services for our students. 🙌
PCR-I Parents and Guardians,
Here is how you can help:
Meal account balances are adding up. You must keep a positive balance in your child’s meal service account. You can check your student’s meal service balance on Infinite Campus. You can send cash or check payable to PCR-I with your student to drop off with the building secretary. You may also pay online through Infinite Campus. There is a small service charge for online payments. This link will show you how to pay online through Infinite Campus.
Thank you for your prompt attention to meal account deposits for your student. Email infinitecampus@putnamcountyr1.net if you have not received your activation key to access Infinite Campus. We appreciate your patience with the new Infinite Campus system.
If you have not applied for Free or Reduced meals and would like to submit your application, you can fill out the form (Attachment E on DESE’s website) and return it to your school’s secretary.
If your child's balance is over $20.00, they will not be permitted to have extras. If their balance is over $50.00, they are not permitted to participate in certain extra-curricular activities.
