PCHS Welcomes Miss Jordan Hollon: Science and Softball!
Give a warm PC welcome back to our new Varsity Head Softball Coach and High School Science teacher, Miss Jordan Hollon!
Jordan Hollon is a 2017 graduate of Putnam County. A three-sport All-Conference athlete, she excelled in softball while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
She attended junior college at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and Indian Hills Community College. The IHCC Lady Warriors softball team finished 8th in the Nation her sophomore year after an impressive showing at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in St. George, Utah. Jordan earned Academic All-American and All-Region Team honors before transferring to Lincoln University to obtain her Bachelor's Degree.
Due to a Covid-shortened Junior year, she is currently in her Super-Senior softball season as a shortstop for the Blue Tigers. Lincoln plays in arguably the toughest NCAA Division II conference in the Nation; the MIAA. Jordan graduated in May with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Jordan is excited to bring her love for science and softball back to Putnam County. Her goal is to make science fun and relatable for all students.
Her lifelong passion for softball is something she looks forward to sharing with PC's young female athletes. The lessons learned on the softball field - hard work, accountability, hustle, and teamwork - transfer off the field and can be applied to every aspect of a successful life.
She hopes to generate excitement and love for the game that will encourage the girls of PC to pick up a bat, ball, and glove early and often.
Help us welcome back a #HomegrownHero, Miss Jordan Hollon!
