Reviewing Letters, Sounds, and Numbers

We have been working hard in first grade, reviewing our letters, sounds, and numbers! One way we reviewed our letters was with a snowball fight!!! The students wrote the first letter of their names on a piece of paper, wadded it up, got into teams, and threw it back and forth.  Next, they opened up the paper they found and had to add the next letter in the alphabet (for example; if there was a 'C' they had to add 'D' and so on).  We did this several times and then shared the papers at the end.  We all had lots of fun!
