National School Counseling Week: February 7-11, 2022.
❤️Let's hear it for our school counselors! Mrs. McClain, Mrs. Fleshman, and Ms. Miller are integral parts of the education process at PCR-I. They are a listening ear and a caring heart. They help students process big emotions, learn how to communicate effectively, help students with problem-solving strategies, help students make plans for their future and success in life, facilitate drug and alcohol prevention programs, mediate conflict, and so much more.
❤️National School Counseling Week 2022 (#NSCW22) is Feb. 7-11, 2022, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.
❤️The 2022 theme is School Counseling: Better Together.
School counselors and other school-based mental health professionals are better together because they help bridge the gaps in education. Whether it be emotional needs, physical needs, academic help, food insecurity, or just a high five and a smile, our school counselors make a difference.
Mrs. McClain, Mrs. Fleshman, and Ms. Miller...we are so grateful for you! Keep on pouring your ❤️ into helping our students. We appreciate you!
