Students who have shown a good attitude in the classroom and among their peers will receive two 10 point bonus coupons with their certificates. Thank you for being a great example for everyone at Putnam County R-I. For January, the good attitude winners are the following: 6th-grader Reagan S., 7th-grader Alivia R., and 8th-grader Trinity A.
The January character education word of the month was gratefulness. Gratefulness is showing appreciation for received benefits. These students received a t-shirt, a concession stand voucher, and a plaque. The grateful winners are 6th-grader Aiden H., 7th-grader Kyann A., and 8th-grader Gretchen D.
January students of the month will receive a certificate, a dog tag that allows them to get into PCR-I events for free for the school year, and a box of candy. Students who receive this award have displayed outstanding behavior, a positive attitude, and have been great role models for their peers. January Students of the Month are 6th grader Mira V., 7th grader Brody H., and 8th grader Jenna K.
The Middle School Student Council also gave out awards to some amazing staff members in the middle school. Mr. Jerrad Clark received the "Spic and Span" award for keeping our school clean and tidy for a good learning environment. Mrs. Brook Fleshman received the "Effervescence" award for having the most bubbly personality. Mrs. KayLea McCollom received the "I Got your Back" award for continually supporting administration, staff, parents, teachers, and students. Mr. Andrew Garber received the "Single File" award for keeping everyone in line and being a great leader.
