Working SMART At Being Great Readers!

The students in first grade take a test that tells them how many words a minute they read.  A couple of months ago each child in my class was asked to come up with a SMART (Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely) goal of their own.  As an incentive, if they reached their SMART goal they get to choose a prize out of my treasure chest!  I have 4 students who have already meet their goals!!!  Keep working hard, Firsties!!!
