Dear Parents,

Thank you also to all of the parents who made it to the Fall Party! We had a great party and the kids enjoyed it!

October Book It certificates are being sent home in the Friday Folder.

Next week in:

Communication Arts: We will  continue working on past and present tense verbs, cause and effect,  and comparing and contrasting.

Spelling: Your child’s list is in the Friday Folder.  

Math: We started a new unit on Friday. We will be working on fluently adding within 100. This week we will focus on adding with partial sums, and adding 2 digit numbers.

Social Studies/Science: We will be working on a Native Americans unit.

Upcoming Events:

November 5- No School Teacher In-Service

November 9- Veteran’s Day assembly at 9 a.m.

November 16- Midterm

November 20- Grandparent’s Day (9-11) and Early Out (12:45) Thanksgiving Break

November 21-23- No School Thanksgiving Break

December 6- Picture Retake Day

December 11- Christmas Music Program grades 1 ,2, and 5

December 14- November and December Character Education Assembly
