Cheerleaders Win State Runner-Up at Missouri State Cheerleading Championships
The Missouri Cheerleaders Coaches Association is proud to congratulate the varsity cheerleaders from Putnam County High School on an outstanding competition season. The regional and state championships were held virtually for the 2020-2021 season. The Putnam County cheerleaders competed in two divisions, including the full 3-minute routine, and the time-out division. The Putnam County Cheerleaders took the 2nd place spot in both divisions.
Putnam County also had six girls named to 8 All-State Cheer Teams, more than any other team in the 1A division. They included: All-State Tumbler - Kalyn H., All-State Jumper - Kalyn H. and Sofia V., All-State Flyers - Kalyn H. and Erinn D., All-State Base - Vanessa B. and Cora H., and All-State Backspot - Grace S.
