Samantha Waugh: Teacher Spotlight

It's Music In Our Schools Month, and what better time to shine a light on Mrs. Samantha Waugh, our elementary music teacher!

We asked Mrs. Waugh who or what inspired her to pursue a career in music education. She told us, "I have always loved music. I wanted a way to teach that love of music to others!"

Mrs. Waugh graduated from Hannibal LaGrange University. She says, "My professors there were phenomenal. They taught me so much more than just how to teach. Even after having graduated over four years, I can still call them for advice."

Mrs. Waugh is married and has two young kids, Grace and Arthur.  Fun fact: she and her family have a pet ferret. In her spare time, you can find Samantha with her husband and kids. At the park, at a ballgame, a band concert, you name it. She loves spending time with her husband and babies. She also loves shopping, especially on Amazon.
