PCR-I Welcomes Mr. Michael Elson: Middle and High School Art.

Help us give a warm Putnam County welcome to Mr. Michael Elson, our new middle and high school art teacher!

Mr. Elson was born and raised in Brookfield, Missouri, and has been making art since he could hold a paintbrush. His passion is working with art and exploring the creative process. He also enjoys camping, cooking, reading, meditation, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. Michael has experience creating artwork in various media and subject matter with watercolor landscapes being his most rewarding challenge. you can view some of his work on murals in Chillicothe.

You can meet Mr. Elson in person on Saturday, August 7, at the Bixler Building from 5-7 pm. He will have some of his work on display as well. Mr. Elson has been diligently working to prepare the art room ready for his students this year. He looks forward to inspiring students here at Putnam.
