Late Start Policy Reminders at PCR-I Schools
Around this time last year, we had already experienced our first snow of the season. So, here are a few reminders about our Late Start Policy.
Feel free to hit that share button to keep other PCR-I families informed.
In the case of bad weather, we could incorporate late starts when we feel it would be safe to do so. Below are some important facts about a late start:
• We will do a school reach letting you know how many hours we will delay the start of the school day. For example, if we delay for two hours, school would start at 10:15 a.m.
• Radio stations and KTVO will be informed of our late start time.
• If school is started two hours late, the bus will run two hours behind its regular schedule. For example, if you are normally picked up at 7:15 a.m., you will get picked up at about 9:15 a.m.
• SOAR will most likely continue with its regular hours.
• Students should not come to the school until the delay is over or 20 minutes before. From the example above, students could start arriving at 9:55 a.m.
• Breakfast will be available for students.
• School will let out at the regular time.
If you have any questions about either of the two items, please feel free to contact your school's principal. Have a great day!
