PC Cheerleaders 1A State Championship
The Missouri Cheerleaders Coaches Association is proud to congratulate the varsity cheerleaders from Putnam County High School. Cheerleaders attended the Kansas City Regional on September 24, 2022, and placed 1st advancing to the State Championship. The cheerleaders traveled to Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO for the Missouri State Cheerleading Championships on December 10, 2022. They competed against several other 1A schools and placed 1st out of 12 teams. For the current senior cheerleaders, this accomplishment marks the third state championship in the last four years.
Putnam County also had five girls named to various All-State Cheer Teams. They included: All-State Tumbler - Kalyn H., All-State Jumper - Kalyn H. and Jesslyn K., All-State Flyer - Kalyn H., All-State Base - Cora H., and All-State Backspots - Gretchen D., Shaylee V.
Congratulations to Putnam County Cheerleaders on all their hard work and dedication and thank you for bringing pride to Putnam County Cheerleading once again!
