Klinginsmith Recognized as Emerging Principal of the Year for NE Region
Congratulations to our very own Homegrown Hero, Mrs. Tiffani Klinginsmith, Putnam County High School Principal. Mrs. Klinginsmith was recently recognized as the 2021 Emerging Principal of the Year for the NE Region of MOASSP!
On Monday, May 10, 2021, Mr. Kirk Stott, High School Principal at Scotland County and President of the Northeast region of MOASSP (Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals), joined us during our high school awards ceremony to surprise Mrs. Klingingsmith with this prestigious award.
Each year MOASSP gathers nominations for High School Principal of the year, Middle School Principal of the year, Assistant Principal of the year, and Emerging Principal of the year. These awards are peer-nominated and voted on by their peers. The Emerging Principal of the Year Award is for a secondary school principal who is 0-3 years of service into the job. Mr. Kirk Stott gave glowing reviews of Mrs. Klinginsmith for her willingness to lend support or strategies on what is working well to help other school principals.
The NE Region covers a large area of schools from Northeast Missouri to the Columbia and Fulton area.
Congratulations, Mrs. Klinginsmith! We are #PutnamProud of you!
