PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Kloey Pearson
Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Kloey Pearson!
🤍Kloey is the daughter of Josh and Lori Pearson.
💙Kloey's favorite quote: "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist."- Oscar Wilde "This quote means a lot to me because I want to live life to the fullest and die with memories, not dreams."
💙Kloey has participated in FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, DECA, Interact, SADD, Student Council, NHS, and Colorguard. She is currently Treasurer for FFA, Vice President for FCCLA, and Vice President for NHS. She has been CTE Student of the Month twice and has gotten a few Character Education awards throughout High School.
💙We asked Kloey what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "My advice for incoming freshmen would be to make the most of your time in high school. Go out with your friends, spend time with family, be involved, and work hard for the things you want. Before you know it, it will all be gone. Make sure you get your work done, but don't be afraid to do things for yourself sometimes."
😂Kloey's funniest memory from high school: "My funniest memory at Putnam is the hypnotist at last year's Prom. It was hilarious watching everyone tell their stories and stumble all over the place."
👩🏼🎓Kloey told us, "After graduation, I plan to attend MACC to do my first year of general education classes, then transfer to Indian Hills to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene."
💙We asked Kloey what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite classes at Putnam were any of my agriculture classes. My favorite thing about agriculture classes is that they are hands-on and offer more opportunities than regular classes do."
😎When asked where she sees herself in 5-10 years, Kloey replied, "In 5 years, I see myself working as a dental hygienist at a dentist's office in our area. Before I settle down, I would like to travel around the US and to a few places outside of the US. After 10 years, I see myself living in a nice house with a family and a few animals."
👧👦Kloey told us about her most memorable moments: "My most memorable moment at Putnam was getting to be a Homecoming candidate. I wanted to be a candidate ever since I was in Elementary, so I'm very thankful I got the opportunity. The best part of being a candidate was getting to ride in my dream car, a 50s Bel Air, during the Homecoming parade!"
💙We asked Kloey what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She replied, "The teacher that has had the biggest impact on me throughout high school is Mrs. Nancy Owings. She has always been there when I needed someone to talk to and has always been willing to help. She will go out of her way to help me and has always pushed me harder to improve and succeed."
🥳Congratulations, Kloey!
We are #PutnamProud of you!
