PCHS Class of 2023 Senior Spotlight: Alexia Mayberry

🥳Senior Spotlight Time!
👩🏼‍🎓Help us congratulate Class of 2023 PCHS Senior, Miss Alexia Mayberry!
🤍Alexia is the daughter of Lisa and Tony Mayberry .
💙Alexia's favorite quote: "You can't live your life for other people. You've got to do what's right for you, even if it hurts some of the people you love."-Nicholas Sparks
💙Alexia has held officer positions in FBLA and FCCLA and participated in DECA, FFA, NHS, and theater.
💙We asked Alexia what her advice would be for incoming freshmen. She said, "Don't let other people make you feel a certain way. It may not feel like it now, but you are in charge of your life. Be respectful, do what's best for you, and HAVE FUN. High School goes a lot quicker than you think."
😂Alexia's funniest memory from high school was "Being at play practice my Junior year and Jenna Bradshaw backed Mr. Buller into a corner, yelling at him. Yes, Mr. Buller was stepping in while someone was gone. Yes, it was in the script. And for all of you wondering... yes, he did cower like a baby."
👩🏼‍🎓Alexia plans to attend MACC and obtain my Associate's Degree in Nursing and become an RN.
📊We asked Alexia what her favorite class was at Putnam. She told us, "My favorite class throughout high school had to be college statistics. I loved doing the projects, and real-life scenarios and getting to play Hantis at the end of the year." (Google Hand Tennis)
👩‍🏫Alexia says, "My most memorable moment at Putnam was when Ms. Tosspon came back from being retired. In middle school, I always wanted to have her as a teacher and didn't get the chance, but it's okay since she just has me in class three times a day now."
💙We asked Alexia what teacher or staff member at Putnam has had the biggest impact on her and why. She said, "Brook Fleshman has made the biggest impact on me throughout my middle school and tough points during my high school year. Although she hasn't been my teacher for a long time, she always offered a listening ear and helped me to see the positive when absolutely everything was going wrong. She is the reason I am able to see the good in life and I thank her every day for that."
Congratulations, Alexia! We are #PutnamProud of you! #pchsclassof2023 #PutnamProud
