Senior Spotlight 2021: Kaitlyn Rouse

Help us celebrate PCHS Class of 2021 Senior Spotlight: Miss Kaitlyn Rouse!

Kaitlyn is the daughter of Jason and Sarah Rouse.

What are your plans after graduation? “After graduation, I plan to attend North Central Missouri College to participate in the nursing program.”

What’s your favorite memory at PCR-I? “Out of all of the amazing memories that I have made at PCR-1, my favorite one would have to be winning the MCCA State Cheerleading Championship in both the performance and the timeout divisions my junior year."

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? “In 10 years, I hope to be working as a nurse, living in Putnam County with a family of my own."

What is something you want people to know? “You will never regret treating people with kindness, but you will regret treating people poorly."

What’s your advice for incoming freshmen? “Enjoy high school and don't wish it away; it will be over before you know it."

What’s your favorite quote? “You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending." - C.S. Lewis 

Who inspires you to pursue your dreams? “The person who inspires me to pursue my dreams is my dad. He is a really hard worker and a good Christian man and everyone that knows him thinks of him highly. I know that he is proud of me right now but I hope when I grow up, I make him proud."
