Read Across America
Today is National Read Across America Day!
"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child." - Dr. Seuss
Take a moment today or sometime this week and read to a child.
Since 1988, Read Across America is the United States' largest celebration of reading. This year-round program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources of all kinds.
We have some of the best library resources around in our schools and our local library. Check out a book and open a new adventure this week!
