Appreciation of Local Law Enforcement
January 9 is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The Middle School Student Council recognized our local officers today, January 8, during TA in the MS auditorium. Officers from the Unionville City Police, Putnam County Sheriff's Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol were honored with an assembly. Recipients were given a certificate of appreciation, a dog-tag that allows free entry to most PC school functions, and a pack of 100 Grand candy bars because they're "worth more than 100 GRAND!" Mr. Garber welcomed the group and some photo ops were taken. Not every officer was able to attend but there were two representatives from each department in attendance. Putnam County appreciates our local law enforcement more than they may realize and we send a big THANK YOU to all of them and all that they do.
