Congratulations to our February 2023 PC MVP Winner and Finalists!
🥳We are so excited to announce the February PC MVP Finalists and Winner. We have an amazing support staff here at PCR-I Schools and it's always exciting to get to honor them.
Help us congratulate our outstanding team members!
February 2023 PC MVP: KayLea McCollom, Middle School Secretary.
Here's what colleagues had to say: "KayLea is a rockstar! She does so much for the middle school staff and always has a smile on her face. KayLea is super helpful to me as a new member of the staff and is always willing to answer my questions. When things come up she is the first to ask what she can do to help make things easier. When I had a sick child she was very helpful in getting things done and covered so I could leave." "The middle school wouldn't run without KayLea in it. She always seems to know the questions we are about to ask, before we ask them. KayLea goes above and beyond everyday making sure all teachers are informed and taken care of but also making sure all students are taken care of. Once she gets to the school at 7:30 she's on the go and never stops! 'm confident KayLea doesn't know how to say no and doesn't have a mean bone in her body, she
is always willing to help. On top of working with all middle school teachers and students, she also works closely with coaches. KayLea organizes paperwork brought in by students for athletics. She is the 'go-to' person if anyone ever needs anything KayLea is there. She is the person who keeps the wheels spinning in the middle school, without her I fully believe we would not function as well."
February 2023 PC MVP Finalist: James Carleton, Paraprofessional and Bus Driver.
"The man never complains about anything. He drives a bus, has a couple of Spanish classes, works with students in the alternative classroom, and supervises lunch for middle and high school. He is like Superman. Even when the lunchroom was down sound equipment he never complained. He is one of the hardest workers here at Putnam."
February 2023 PC MVP Finalist: Kim Knight, Bus Driver.
"Kim goes above her duties as a bus driver. She is the first one there in the mornings and gets the busses started and warming up. This is not included in her salary as
a bus driver. I appreciate her for going in a few minutes early and having my bus started and waiting for me. It really is a luxury during the winter months. Kim also opens the bus garage for us to use the restroom and makes coffee for the bus drivers. Bus Drivers are up before the sun and out on the roads hours before school starts, we are the first and last person from PCR1 that the kids see every day. Kim has always had a smile on her face and answered a question for me if I needed it. She had always made me feel welcome and I am glad to be her bus neighbor in the barn!"
Finalist: Lacey Patterson, Elementary Paraprofessional
"Lacey has been an amazing addition to our PC Paraprofessional Posse! She jumped into her duties headfirst with a kind, caring, and positive attitude. So much is asked of her every day and I've never heard her complain or even react with anything other than a smile! It's clear how much she cares about not only her student, but the other student's in
the class as well. I'm grateful she chose PC as her new home and I'm blessed to get to work with her!!" "Lacey is one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met, she is very patient and understanding with the students. She does her job with a smile on her face. She always looks and acts professionally." "Lacey has done exceptional work with her student. Lacey does very well with all the Kindergarteners at lunch as well!"
Congratulations to all our finalists and winner! We appreciate you going above and beyond to make PCR-I the BEST place to be!
