3×5 Schedule Study: “The Structure of Time: How Trimester Schedules Impact Teaching and Learning in the Jefferson County Public Schools of Louisville, Kentucky”
by Meredith L. Foster, Stephen M. Fry, and Christian L. Sawyer, Peabody College at Vanderbilt University (discussed in Spring 2013)
Advantages of Recommended Schedule: 3×5 (handout from board meeting April 4, 2012, after work group recommended 3×5 schedule)

Sample Schedules: Many parents and students asked to see examples of what a student’s schedule might look like over the four years of high school. These sample schedules show some possibilities under a 3×5 or 4×4 block schedule. These are meant to be examples only; every student has different academic needs and interests and will be scheduled accordingly. (handout from March 8, 2012)
