About Synergy ParentVUE and StudentVUE
ParentVUE and StudentVUE are portals that offer secure, private access to school and student information to help families stay informed about their students’ progress in school.
If you have a student enrolled in a Eugene School District 4J middle school or high school, you can access their grades, check attendance, review class schedules, communicate with teachers, and more, all from your web browser or mobile app.
While students are learning online in comprehensive distance learning, the ParentVUE and StudentVUE portal will still be used for tracking attendance, class schedules, and communicating with teachers. Additionally, some teachers may choose to continue to use the ParentVUE/StudentVUE gradebook in addition to Canvas.

I am a parent. How do I access ParentVUE?
Your child’s middle or high school will provide an activation key for you to access ParentVUE and set up your account.
Web browser: You can access ParentVUE at https://pv.4j.lane.edu. Click on “I am a parent,” then “More Options,” then “Activate Account.”
Mobile device: Download and open the Apple iOS or Android app, then select Eugene School District 4J from the list of Oregon districts, or enter the district office zip code of 97402.
How do I get the ParentVUE app?
I am a student. How do I access StudentVUE?
StudentVUE is available to students in Grade 6 and above. Students can log in to StudentVUE using their regular 4J username and password. If you do not know your 4J username and password, please contact your school office.
You can access StudentVUE in your web browser at https://sv.4j.lane.edu. Click on “I am a student” and log in using your 4J email user name and password.
How do I get the StudentVUE app?
Can I use the same login for all of my students in 4J?
Yes, your ParentVUE login gives you access to the information for all of your students.
Will last year’s login still work this year?
Yes, if you activated your ParentVUE account last year or before, you can continue to access your students’ information with the same username and password.
Can more than one parent have a ParentVUE account?
Yes, parents and guardians can view their child’s information if they have custodial or educational rights and are listed in their student’s educational records in Synergy. Each parent or guardian must have their own ParentVUE login. If a parent or guardian does not have an account and needs an activation key, please contact your school directly.
I have not received an activation key.
Your school will provide an activation key. If you have not received an activation key or have misplaced it, please contact your school directly.
I have a child in elementary school, and I have not received an activation key.
ParentVUE and StudentVUE are currently available for students in middle and high school.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Parents have the ability to reset their own passwords.
- Click on the Login to ParentVUE link on the top of this page
- Click I am a parent >>
- Under the username and password field, click on More Options
- Click on Forgot Password
- Enter your username or the email address you used to activate your account and click Send Email.
- Open the email you receive and follow the directions to reset your password.
