Eugene School District 4J offers benefit eligible employees the option of purchasing life insurance their spouse or partner and their dependent children. OEBB rules require each eligible employee to purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves in an amount equal to or greater than any coverage purchased for a family member. The cost of this optional coverage is found on the Rates page.
For Spouses and Domestic Partners you can elect coverage up to $500,000. For dependent child life coverage you can elect up to $10,000. Remember, in order to elect the optional dependent life coverage, you must also elect Employee Supplemental Life coverage.
