I was born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana. I came to the sunny south through a full-ride basketball scholarship I earned from Samford University in 1994. I earned my bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Samford in 1999. I then received my Masters Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Montevallo in 2005. I'm excited to be teaching and coaching at one of the best school systems in America! I have been working at Mountain Brook since the fall of 2008. I have coached basketball at the high school since coming in 2008 as well as teaching Physical Education. I became the Head Coach in 2020 and we won the State Title in my first year and it was our 6th in School History!
