Jackie Hayes grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama, and is a graduate of Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Special Education K-12. After graduating with her Bachelor’s, she started working in the Lee County School System. In 2013, she earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education with a focus in Transitions from Auburn University.  In December of 2022, Ms. Hayes graduated from the University of West Alabama with an Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. Ms. Hayes currently teaches collaboratively in the regular class setting and serves special education students in the resource room setting. This is Ms. Hayes’ eleventh year at Mountain Brook High School.
