Academic Skills is a class that provides students a period to stay organized, complete their assignments, and seek additional instruction. Math instruction is available daily by Mrs. Westlake. Instruction for English, history and foreign language is available from Mr. Bailey. The time may also be used to work with other teachers as needed and to work in the library on different assignments.  

One assessment for this course is the daily agenda. Agendas are reviewed and grades are posted weekly.  The teachers work with the students to review class progress, help with missing assignments, and provide a means of accountability in performance.
