Mrs. Gannon grew up in Jackson, MS and graduated from Ole Miss with a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Disorders. After working at a school for children with language/learning needs, she moved to Chicago and earned her Master's Degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University. She worked as a Learning Behavior Specialist in Wilmette, IL for 3 years, then headed back south to teach in the Instructional Support department at Bumpus Middle School in Hoover for 9 years. She lives in Cahaba Heights with her husband, daughter and two dogs, and she enjoys yoga, Netflix and queso dip.

She is thrilled to be a part of Mountain Brook Schools and looks forward to a great year.
