Mrs. Chaffin received her B.A. in psychology from North Carolina State University.  After spending a year testing in a children's psychiatric clinic, she began graduate school at the University of Alabama studying special education.  This is Mrs. Chaffin's sixteenth year teaching and second year at Mountain Brook High School.  She will be teaching  AAS Math, AAS Social Studies, SBR Reading, Community Based Instruction and Vocational Skills.  She is also one of the Circle of Friends club sponsors. 

In her free time, Mrs. Chaffin enjoys spending time with her husband and her ten-year-old and six-year-old daughters.  She enjoys reading, traveling, live music, and pulling for the Crimson Tide.
