Lori Leopard
¡Bienvenidos! Señora Lori Leopard's history with the Spanish language began with two years of study at Opelika High School. Señora Leopard attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. In the summer of 1988, she studied in Madrid, Spain with Auburn University's study abroad program. Additionally, in 1994, she studied at the Proyecto Lingüístico Francisco Marroquín in Antigua, Guatemala. After completing her degree in Spanish, Señora Leopard also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. She completed her collegiate studies by earning a Master of Arts in Education in December of 1994. In the fall of 1995, she began her career as a Secondary Spanish Teacher.
Señora Leopard is committed to being a lifelong learner. She enjoys attending annual conferences and workshops through her affiliations with the Alabama World Language Association and the Alabama Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. She loves to travel and has taken students abroad to Spain, Cuba, and Costa Rica. Señora Leopard loves the Spanish language and culture and she hopes to instill that same affection in the students that she teaches.
