Mrs. Thomas is a native of Mountain Brook and graduated from MBHS in 1998. After graduation, she attended The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) where, in 2002, she received a Bachelor of Engineering degree with an emphasis in Mathematics.  In 2004 she completed her Master’s degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from The University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB).  

Before joining the MBHS family, Mrs. Thomas taught math at Mountain Brook Junior High for 14 years.  She also spent two years working as an Instructional Technology Specialist for Vestavia Hills City Schools.  This is her 4th year at MBHS and she will be teaching Advanced Algebra 2 with Statistics and Algebra 2 with Statistics (AL COS).  

Mrs. Thomas and her husband live in Mountain Brook with their two children, a chocolate lab, two cats, and two turtles.
