Melissa Palmer has been teaching in Mountain Brook for 20 years and has been teaching Anatomy and Physiology for over 25 years. She also teaches Math and Science ACT Prep and is the Sophomore Class sponsor. 

Mrs. Palmer is a graduate of Stonehill College with a BA in Biology, Fitchburg University with a MEd in Secondary Education Administration, and University of Montevallo with a MEd in Secondary Education with Endorsement in Biology.  She received her National Board Certification in Biology in 2001, was recertified in 2011, and will be working on her second recertification this school year. She grew up south of Boston, but don't call her a Yankee- she's a Red Sox (and a Celtic, a Bruin, and a Patriot!). She now lives in Oak Mountain with her family.
