Brandy Shotts is an Advanced 10 and College Prep 12 English teacher at MBHS. This is her third year teaching in the Mountain Brook School district. Brandy is a 1999 graduate of Clay-Chalkville High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama. Brandy taught for thirteen years in Jefferson County and then moved to Vestavia Hills High School, where she taught for six years. 

Brandy is married to Danny Shotts, a PE teacher at Brookwood Forest Elementary. She has two sons, a sophomore and a senior at MBHS. She is so excited to be part of the Spartan family.

Brandy enjoys watching college football on Saturdays in the fall, watching her two boys play baseball in the spring, reading, and traveling with her family.
