Mrs. Millhouse is entering her twelfth year of teaching. She grew up in Decatur, AL and graduated from Auburn University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary General Science. While teaching at Auburn City Schools, Mrs. Millhouse earned her Masters of Education in General Science from the University of Montevallo. She has previously taught in Hoover City Schools.  

Education Philosophy:

Providing a learning experience where each student is embraced for who they are is most important. It is within this environment confidence and trust spark curiosity. The realization that science is apart of our daily lives opens the door for this curiosity to develop into deeper knowledge and understanding. While science is the curriculum, it is through strategic approaches that growth will happen both intellectually and personally.
