With the new school year underway, Eugene School District 4J held a parent information webinar on Monday, Sept. 20, to keep families up to date about the return to in-person learning.

During the half-hour session, Interim Superintendent Cydney Vandercar and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brooke Wagner addressed questions submitted by parents about the COVID-19 health and safety protocols and preventive measures in school buildings such as face masks, distancing, ventilation, cleaning, testing, school meals, outdoor meals and activities, and what happens when there’s a COVID-19 case identified at a school.

Eugene School District 4J is committed to the health and safety of our students and staff. Thank you for doing your part to help the district and community reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and keep our students learning in the classroom each school day.

Con el año escolar en curso, el Distrito Escolar de Eugene 4J tuvo una sesión virtual informativa para los padres el lunes 20 de septiembre, para mantener a las familias informadas sobre el regreso al aprendizaje en persona.

Durante la sesión de media hora la superintendente interina Cydney Vandercar y la vicesuperintendente Brooke Wagner respondieron a preguntas entregadas por los padres sobre los protocolos de salud y seguridad y medidas de prevención de COVID-19 en los edificios escolares como las mascarillas, el distanciamiento, la ventilación, limpieza, pruebas, comidas escolares, comidas y actividades al aire libre, y lo que pasa cuando hay un caso identificado de COVID-19 en la escuela.

El Distrito Escolar de Eugene 4J está comprometido a la salud y seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y personal.
