Classical Traditions, Major Religions, and Giant Empires

ERA 3 of our study continues by focusing on the foundations of Ancient Greece as well as the Roman Empire.  Students will understand why nations expand as well as explore the positive and negative effects associated with this growth.  The fundamentals of government and religion are also key areas of study within this unit.  Elements of civilization taught within ERAs 1 & 2 will be woven within the fabric of this unit to continue reinforcing the significance of those concepts and to emphasize the similarities that all civilizations share. Click the tabs to the left to learn more.
