Ms. Kelly Bumgardner

Welcome to seventh grade language arts!  This is my seventeenth year teaching, and my fifteenth year with Cabarrus County Schools.  This is my third year at Harris Road Middle School after twelve years at Northwest Cabarrus Middle School.  Go Patriots!  I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.  My graduate degree in Middle Grades Education is from the University of Georgia.  I am also Nationally Board Certified in Early Adolesence English Language Arts.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to Georgia football games.  Go Dawgs!  I also enjoy arts and crafts, reading, going to the beach, cooking, coaching cheerleading, exercising on my Peloton (slightly obsessed), and spending time with my friends and family.
