Mrs. Heather Kundla

   My name is Heather Kundla and I am the ELA teacher for the Majors team.  I am a graduate of Appalachian State University and received my masters in Quality Schools from Graceland University. I have twenty-two years of middle school experience in Language Arts/Social Studies but am also highly qualified in Science. I began my teaching career in Charlotte and have been in Cabarrus County for the last eighteen years at JN Fries, Winkler, and Harris Road Midde Schools.  I have three children (ages 16, 11, and 10) and took a year and a half off from teaching to stay home with them.  I loved that time at home, but truly missed teaching and working with middle school students. I look forward to an exciting year of learning and discovery at Harris Road this year!
