About Me
I have spent the last 25+ years in education. This is my twelfth year teaching in Cabarrus County. I graduated from Furman University and I received my Master of Education from the University of Georgia. My four children graduated from Cabarrus County Schools and now attend UNC, NC State and the University of Alabama. I love to read, sew, paint, travel, and, most of all, I love teaching middle schoolers!

Progress Reports and Report Cards
PowerSchool Parent Portal: All families have on-line access to PowerSchool. The user name and password remain the same throughout your child's time in Cabarrus County Schools. For the mobile app, the Cabarrus County code is HXBT.
This program allows families to access grades throughout the year as they are posted in the on-line gradebook. Printed copies of progress reports and report cards will no longer be sent home.
