Mrs. Wendy Nowack

Hello and welcome to my 7th-grade science homepage! This is my 2nd year teaching 7th grade science at Harris Road Middle School. Previously, I was a licensed Teacher Assistant with Ms. Bartlett's Earth and Environmental Science classes.  I am originally from Tennessee and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis on Secondary Education.  I was licensed for grades 6-12 in the state of TN and worked as a high school Physical Science teacher before moving to North Carolina. After moving to NC in 2001, I was hired by Sylvan Learning Center in Mooresville as the Center Director.  I worked for Sylvan for several years and then as a Psychometrist in Charlotte before deciding to have children and choosing to work only part-time.  So, after ten years, I made the decision to return to teaching.  In 2018, I was re-licensed to teach Middle School Science and joined the amazing staff at HRMS.  I love teaching & working with students and am very excited to be your child's science teacher.
