Mrs. Allison Egbert

Hello.  I am excited to begin my 8th year at Harris Road Middle School serving as the 7th Grade School Counselor.  I am beginning my 13th year in the Cabarrus County School System and 15th year in Education.  Prior to working as a School Counselor, I have worked as a Lead Teacher, 6th Grade English/Language Arts Teacher, 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher, and 8th grade English/Language Arts Teacher.  I look forward to supporting students this year.

Like you, we are concerned with the social and emotional health of our students during this time of school closure. To support our students, we will be providing weekly lessons to promote resiliency, coping skills and self-management. Parents will be notified through the school newsletter of the district's weekly theme, skills covered and any additional resources that are being provided to students and parents.

Our SISP team will be working closely with teachers to monitor the well-being of our students. While we are unable to check-in with students face to face as we normally would, virtual check-ins would allow us to screen students that may need of additional support. To help facilitate that process, we ask that all parents complete the VIRTUAL CONSENT FORM. As per our regular practices, parents would be notified of any concerns and need for continued support.

Please fill out the form below to request to speak with me.

Please fill out the Virtual Consent Form linked about before filling out the Request for Counseling Form.  The Virtual Consent Form only needs to be completed one time.
