Hello Patriots! I hope you are as excited as I am about the 2022-2023 school year. We have lots of exciting activities and projects planned as we learn the skills needed for self-care, home and money management, and careers related to food preparation, nutrition management, and proper physical development.

I began my career as a high school FACS teacher at the age of 24 in Vance County, NC (2005-2007). I moved back to my hometown, Halifax County VA, and taught FACS for 15 more years (2007-2022). Now it's my 18th year and I'm looking forward to the Patriot life.
