A Message from Dr. James Williams, Principal

Thank you for showing interest in our school and taking the time to view our website. The Performance Learning Center (PLC) is a small, non-traditional high school in Cabarrus County that focuses on drop out prevention and student achievement. Our maximum enrollment is 150 students. The PLC has been in operation for over a decade and recently moved into a new, modern state of the art facility. We offer a blended approach to student learning for students that are not successful in a traditional high school setting. Students have access to smaller classes and programs are individualized so that upon graduation they can move into 2 or 4 year college programs or the workforce. We incorporate a caring philosophy and approach that combines a strong personal relationship between staff and students with an intense focus on student achievement. We welcome all inquiries and look forward to sharing our program and successes with you.James WilliamsPrincipal
