Miss Mary Finkel

WELCOME TO ELA AND SOCIAL STUDIES AS A MEMEBER OF THE BLUE ANGELS FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR! 

I'm Miss Finkel, your ELA/SS teacher! I am incredibly excited to be joining the HRMS team this year. This is my sixth year of teaching and fifth year teaching in North Carolina. I am orginally from Morgantown, West Virginia where I attended West Virginia Univeristy (go Mountaineers!) and earned my Master's in Elementary Education and Bachelor's in English Education.  After college I followed my dreams to work for the Mouse and interned at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy being active, going on hikes, traveling, reading, playing with my dog Gracie, and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to this school year!
