Welcome to 6th Grade!

I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade for my 5th year at Harris Road Middle School. This year I will be teaching Math and Social Studies on the Majors Team. 

I began teaching 4th grade in the spring of 2014 at Patriots STEM Elementary after graduating from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, and I am happy to continue the middle school adventure this school year.

My husband, son and I moved to this area in 2008 from Augusta, Georgia. My son graduated from Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College High School, attended Appalachian State and is now in the working world! My husband is an engineer in Charlotte.  Our second child is a rescued pupper named Lucy. My hobbies include reading, movies, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
