HRMS Parent Expectations

In order to assist your child in having a wonderful school year, we encourage all HRMS parents to do the following:

•        Check PowerSchool weekly at minimum and contact teachers with any concerns
•        Sign up for PowerSchool emails
•        Create and maintain a system to organize your child’s school materials
•        Monitor and reinforce appropriate use of social media
•        Encourage your child to utilize their agenda
•        Allow your child to experience success and failure as is developmentally appropriate
•        Encourage consistent school attendance and communicate absences to school via link on website
•        Check teacher websites as needed
•        Provide a structured homework time
•        Promptly read/listen to all school communication
